Cats are a real part of what we do at our Maple Street shop, not something we squeeze in at the end of the day. One cat at a time, no dogs in the room, and a groomer who learns your cat's limits.
What a $75 cat groom covers
One flat price for the full cat groom, whatever your cat's coat is doing that month. If you only need one small thing, you can book that on its own too.
Appointment only. Plan on your cat having the room to themselves.
- Bath and dryCats are bathed and dried as part of the full cat groom, worked at a pace that suits them.
- Brush-out and coat workA brush-out to lift loose undercoat. Generally speaking, where fur is tightly matted, clipping it out is often kinder for the cat than combing.
- Nail trimAll four paws, taken slowly, with breaks if your cat needs them.
- Ear cleaningEar cleaning is on our price list at $12.
Quiet, dog-free, and never rushed
Cats get the room to themselves. There is no dog barking two feet away, no cage to sit in before or after, and nobody waiting on us to hurry along. We're two groomers in a small shop with calm music, and we see one pet at a time on purpose.

Mats, shedding, and long-haired cats
A cat who used to keep herself tidy can quietly stop managing it. Generally speaking, mats start in the places a cat can't easily reach or where fur rubs: behind the ears, in the armpits, along the belly, at the back of the hind legs, and under a collar. Once a mat tightens it pulls on the skin, so brushing it out at home often hurts more than it helps.
Long-haired cats build undercoat faster than a tongue can keep up with, and older cats with stiff joints or sore teeth tend to groom less each year. Heavy seasonal shedding shows up the same way, as loose fluff that packs down instead of falling out. None of that means anything is wrong with your cat. It usually just means she needs a hand.
